South Charleston Police: Man charged after attack with claw hammer | WCHS

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A man is in jail after South Charleston Police said he attacked a relative with a claw hammer early Friday morning.

According to police, 29-year-old Frankie McNeal walked into his mother and stepfather’s bedroom with a claw hammer and accused them of trying to kill him. Adjustable Copper Pipe Cutter

Police said McNeal then hit his stepfather in the face with the hammer, causing serious injury.

McNeal, who was staying in the house for the Thanksgiving holiday, is now facing felony charges for assault and battery, police said.
