As drama on Vanderpump Rules has come and gone, so have the restaurants.

Since the hit series debuted on Bravo in 2013, Lisa Vanderpump‘s businesses have set the scene for the show’s biggest story lines. Viewers were originally introduced to the cast as they faced ups and downs while working at Vanderpump’s various Los Angeles establishments, mainly SUR.

The TV personalities evolved from bartenders and waitresses over time, but Vanderpump’s eateries often remained at the center of the drama. Some of the stars even went on to launch ventures of their own, turning to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum for advice.

However, drama in the cast’s personal lives has sometimes impacted their profits. When news broke in March 2023 that Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix had split after nearly a decade of dating due to his affair with their costar Raquel Leviss, Sandoval’s career also took a hit.

In response to the scandal, fans began to turn on Schwartz & Sandy’s, which the Missouri native owns with his BFF and business partner Tom Schwartz. (The pair also run TomTom, which they opened with Vanderpump’s help.)

Meanwhile, Madix found success in her professional life as her sandwich shop with Katie Maloney received an influx of interest. The duo revealed during the season 10 Vanderpump Rules reunion, which aired in May 2023, that they made $200,000 from the shop’s merch because fans wanted to support the Fancy AF Cocktails coauthor in the aftermath of Sandoval and Leviss’ affair.

Several of the show's stars got their start at Villa Blanca, which was dedicated to gourmet Mediterranean dishes. Vanderpump closed the establishment in 2020 after more than a decade.

The restaurant and lounge, which opened in 1998, became a household name after being featured on Vanderpump Rules. The series debuted in 2013 and focused on the staff including Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Maloney, Sandoval, Scheana Shay and Jax Taylor. Most of the reality stars no longer work at SUR, aside from Peter Madrigal and Charli Burnett.

Following Villa Blanca and SUR's success, Vanderpump expanded with Pump Restaurant in 2014. The West Hollywood closed its doors after nearly 10 years of business in July 2023. One month later, Pump reopened as a brunch spot and extension of TomTom.

In 2018, Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, partnered with Sandoval and Schwartz on a bar that featured craft cocktails and seasonal appetizers.

Bravo viewers got a glimpse at Sandoval and Schwartz's attempt to start their own eclectic bar and lounge during seasons 9 and 10. After major challenges behind the scenes, the business partners unveiled Schwartz & Sandy's to the public in 2022.

The Parisian-inspired restaurant was at the center of an unexpected feud when several Vanderpump Rules cast members visited Las Vegas in season 10. Maloney, Kristina Kelly, Lala Kent and Leviss went for the elaborate atmosphere and stayed for Garcelle Beauvais' son Oliver Saunders, who is a server at Vanderpump à Paris.

Maloney and Madix's highly anticipated sandwich shop is set to make its debut in summer 2023. The pair previously opened up about how Scandoval contributed to their initial success, with Maloney and Madix raising thousands for their business through merch.
